Agriculture and livestock are core activities in the broader Micoud district, with farms and related transport/input/market services across the rural communities. Constituency output and employment are not separately published.

Construction, land development and highway-facing commerce are visible growth channels around Beauchamp, Desruisseaux and Canelles. The Beauchamp project marketed serviced residential/commercial lots; current build-out and employment are unknown.

Canelles was approved as a Citizenship by Investment resort project and remains listed by the CIP Unit, but no authoritative opening/completion notice was found. It should be treated as prospective hospitality employment, not an operating major employer.

Schools, wellness/community facilities, public administration, retail, construction and transport provide local service employment. No current employer register or firm-level employment data were found.

Micoud's existing treatment/supply system has documented turbidity shutdowns, drought rationing, inadequate storage, grid dependence and network losses. A nearly US$10 million Re-Water concept was endorsed by the Adaptation Fund Board in October 2025, but the Board requested a fully developed proposal; endorsement is not project funding or implementation.

All 22 Micoud drainage packages were recorded complete by November 2022, totalling 4,048 metres and 853 direct beneficiaries, covering flood-prone Desruisseaux, Blanchard, Anse Ger and Ti Rocher areas.

The Micoud/Canelles national-highway road and culvert works were complete by November 2022. The reported 57,546 figure represents estimated commuters/project users, not constituency residents.

The 2024-25 shelter list included Ti Rocher, Fond Desruisseaux and Blanchard facilities. Current certified capacity, accessibility and backup utilities require verification.
