A few useful details

Does it download the whole website?

No. Only the app’s small offline screen is kept automatically. Articles and papers download when you request them.

Will I need to install it again for new research?

No. The app uses the same published content as the website. Interface updates may offer a small “Update now” notice.

Can I receive notifications?

Open the app’s More tab to see alert availability and choose your preference. On iPhone and iPad, open SLPA from its home-screen icon first. Alerts need your permission and remain subject to your phone’s settings.

Does this work on a computer?

Yes. Supported desktop browsers can install SLPA in its own window. Safari on Mac offers Add to Dock. You can also use the app view in an ordinary browser tab.
