What supports work and livelihoods
- Agriculture is a core documented base. The ministry identifies Babonneau-region farming communities and a shift in former banana areas such as Forestiere, Chassin and Marquis toward plantain, cocoa and other diversification.
- Agro-tourism, heritage/cultural experiences, nature-based visits and small creative enterprises are active development directions rather than yet-quantified dominant sectors.
- Construction, retail, transport and commuter services likely grow with the constituency's population, but no current sectoral employment table exists at constituency level.
- The farm belt, agro-processing, Castries and northern labour-market access, construction, public services, rainforest visitation and cultural enterprise form a mixed livelihood base, but current constituency income and commuting data are missing.
